Nouveau service d'urgence via Digicel - New emergency service via Digicel

En Haiti : envoyez un SMS vous localisant de votre tel a ce numero 4636

 qui est monitore par des equipes d'urgence. Pour le moment ce la marche que sur Digiciel, ce n'est pas encore operationnel sur Voila.

Si vous etes en Haiti et que vous voulez enregistrer le numero de qq1 d'autre envoyez un texto avec REGISTER ou REGISTRE et le numero de la personne et sa localisation a 4636

Si vous etes a l'etranger: envoyez un SMS REGISTER ou REGISTRE, le numero local de la personne en Haiti et son emplacement a +4673 749 4535

Attention, le code SMS est dependant de l'infrastructure locale, si elle ne fonctionne pas les SMS ne passeront pas.

A new emergency service just became available via Digicel.   Please pass this info on to anyone you've got on the ground:  


- If inside Haiti: text your location to 4636 directly from your own phone
It will upload directly to http://haiti.ushahidi.com/, which is being monitored by first responders. 
This will currently ONLY work on the Digicel network--it's not up for Voila yet.
- If inside Haiti and registering someone else's phone number: send a text with REGISTER or REGISTRE and the loved ones' number and location, to 4636
- If overseas: text REGISTER or REGISTRE and the loved ones' local Haiti number, and location to +4673 749 4535
- Note: The SMS shortcode is dependent on local telecom infrastructure; if the infrastructure fails, the local SMS service will not work
